Lord Buddha taught

That it is those trying to disgrace others that really lose dignity.

In fact,

It’s Thailand, your country, that does lose dignity.

Yours is a Buddhist country;

So is ours, Myanmar.

We’re called Buddhist

As we believe in Buddhism.

Hence, may I ask?

Lord Buddha taught

That wrong-doing doesn’t pay, didn’t he?

You may merely keep the truth behind the untruthful verdict from the people

But there are many things that you can’t really conceal.

Additionally, it’ll be wrong

If you think you can conceal the truth for long!

If you make unlawful judgement without any convincing evidence

For this very case attracting widespread global attention,

How will you salvage the prestige of your country Thailand

In the world?

Which is more important – your prestige or material?

As Buddhists, you may know the answer.

Thai King, princess and government leaders

Have so far had spotless history internationally.

You know most

How much you value your King.

Will you let down your royal family

By your own deeds?

It’s said:

Children’s bad deeds affect their parents.

Mao Zedong is dead

But he is still alive in the hearts of Chinese people.

Gandhi is dead

But he is still alive in the hearts of Indian people.

Ho Chi Minh is dead

But he is still alive in the hearts of Vietnamese people.

General Aung San is dead

But he is still alive in the hearts of Myanmar people.

Shouldn’t you also have

A great leader who can provide the touchstone for truth

In your beloved country, Thailand?

Those particular countries could stand prestigiously

Because they didn’t have any disgrace internationally

Under their leaders’ reign.

Thus, those great leaders died

But their names never die!

If you continue making unfair judgement,

How disgraceful the prestige of your beloved King and leaders will be

In the international community!

If the future generation of Thailand will, with clear conscience, dare learn

About the dignity of their leaders

In Thai history textbooks.
